If your group is being migrated, you will be notified via email beforehand. The new system will offer the campus community an up-to-date web interface for email and calendar. If there are no contacts on your phone, the latter will happen - the contents of your All Contacts group will be synced.Starting in Fall 2019, staff groups will begin moving to a new version of Exchange email and calendaring. If you choose to keep existing contacts, it will sync the contents of the All Contacts group instead.
If you want to sync only the My Contacts group, you must choose to Delete Existing Contacts during the Google Sync install when prompted.
